Two pianists interacting with a super-fast playback track as a tribute to Edgar Froese, frontman of the legendary electronic band Tangerine Dream – that's Bernhard Lang's DW 31. Peter Ablinger, who died in 2025, gave minimalist playing instructions in his Regenstück (Rain Piece): six click tracks in different meters, each part intended to evoke the beginning of rain; instead of instruments, the musicians choose found objects from nature. The New Art and Music Ensemble Salzburg combines these two contemporary classics with two commissioned works: one by its founding member Matthias Leboucher and one by electronics engineer Anton Rune Lindström.
