In collaboration with Radio Österreich 1 and the Vienna ensemble PHACE, the aspekteFESTIVAL invited Austrian music universities for the second time in June 2025 to nominate two of their students as participating composers. The jury unanimously selected four young artists from 16 submissions and commissioned them to compose a new work. The jury consisted of Ludwig Nussbichler (aspekteFESTIVAL), Reinhard Fuchs (Ensemble PHACE), Mathilde Hoursiangou (pianist with PHACE, mdw), and Rainer Elstner (music editor at Ö1, co-curator of ORF-musikprotokoll).
